Sometimes professional development works for any teacher in any grade level or subject area. Sometimes it's better to dive deep with teachers in your content area. In this mini course, I'll explain my philosophy and approach to PD. The full course will cover topics like podcasts, poetry, the video essay, short fiction, the teaching of writing, differentiation, literary techniques, and project-based learning. I'll explain around 60 downloadable resources including a unit on short fiction, poetry, and Hamlet. You'll receive a certificate of completion for 1 PD credit hours.

Hi, I’m Scott Cameron and I teach AP Literature and Composition at Princeton High School in New Jersey. Some of my best ideas come from conversations with my colleagues. I wanted to extend those great conversations beyond the walls of my school. My course will allow for English teachers to exchange ideas and experiences about what works.
I've been teaching for 15 years and attended Rutgers University in New Jersey. I have a B.A. and M.A. in English and a supervisor certificate.
